PARTNERSHIP LEVELS

Science fairs exist to make science and research a cross-curricular activity within K-12 schools. Student participation instills confidence and critical thinking skills that build future researchers, scientists and employees for emerging technologies. Beyond the regional fairs, the Mississippi Science and Engineering Fairs for Regions I and VI offer pathways to compete on a statewide and international stage.

The spring combination fair includes the coastal counties and Pine Belt counties surrounding the Hattiesburg campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. Annually, the fair hosts more than 150 students and is growing each year. Those students with projects winning first and second place at the regional fair are promoted to the state fair, and two students from the combined regions compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair.

Your support of the Mississippi Regions I and VI Science and Engineering Fair helps to create a community ecosystem that challenges students to engage in skills that are critical to OUR future.
